Sorry for repeat thread but last good thread over year old and thread related to cell service on relocation sticky thread is from 2007.

Mainly interested in input on good/acceptable 4G reception (overall ) in metroplex esp around uptown/ Oak Lawn in Dallas and around DFW airport proper.

Thanks in advance.

AT&T has never let me down for 4G. Dropped Sprint for AT&T cause Sprint WiMax and LTE wasn't spread out yet in the DFW area. Even though their coverage map shows 4G over my neighborhood, I was also stuck on 3G.

Had same problems with Sprint (WiMax sucked) but now I am consistently getting 4G in Dallas.

I used to have Sprint and it was dreadful. Terrible reception, terrible coverage, I would go days at a time not able to dial out from my phone and with incoming calls going straight to voicemail, and Sprint refused to adjust my bill. I have Verizon now and am much happier with it.

Verizon hands down. You pay a premium but no one comes close to the coverage.

Any experiences with t-mobile? Their no contract plans are tempting.

verizon and ATT are exactly the same cost. Both work well. Verizon has a little faster internet. Bad thing with verison is that they dont allow you to keep unlimited data when you buy a new phone. They are trying to get everyone off unlimited data. But that doesnt matter to new customers anyway.

AT&T and T-Mobile are good at most places. Sprint was recently bought by a big Japanese company, they are getting latest systems so I would get Sprint as soon as my contract with AT&T T expires.

LOL worst advice I've seen all day. Do you have anything to back that up other than that? I just came off Sprint in April. It was abysmal. 4G coverage was a joke. Did you even read my post? Everyone in my area that I know with Sprint is dropping it as soon as their contracts come up for renewal. Some are going for T-Mobile but most are switching to Verizon.
