Hi All,

I am thinking about relocating to Texas from kuwait and need some help in selecting the area in Texas to settle down.

My first preference is Islamic School for my kids. What are some of the best Islamic Schools in Texas ?
Mosque: Where is the largest mosque in Texas?
Community: What areas do most Pakistani/Indian Muslims live and what areas have the least crime rate?
Halal Markets: What areas have the most number of halal markets?

Thank you all for your assistance

There are large Muslim communities in the major cities of Texas. I can only speak for North Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth) but the bulk of the community is in the Richardson/Plano, Irving and Arlington areas, all north or west of Dallas proper. There is a large Muslim community here and this area is the home to the nation's first Muslim fraternity at University of Texas, Dallas. You can reach out to organizations like the Islamic Association of North Texas and they should be able to help you. http://www.iant.com/

And here you'll find a list of area mosques/schools/markets/restaurants. As you'll see from the maps provided, they tend to be clustered north of Dallas. You can also search Houston, or any other American city, as well and compare. Dallas/Fort Worth Masjids, Mosques, and Islamic Centers - Salatomatic

Good luck!
