When Dallas gets big enough and wealthy enough, there is no way that some suburbs will have a chance. some Cities that might be able to resist for a good long time are Garland, Irving, Carrollton, Grand Prairie, and maybe Richardson. Coppell Will probably get ceased in a some 30 years at most, as well as Farmers Branch, Addison, DeSoto, and all those other ones with under 50,000. the only way the can resist it is if they become some Highland Park or University park community, which I mean Coppell is nice but...not that nice. why some places like cockrell hill haven't been annexed beats me.

OMY!!! YOU DRANK THE KOOLAID!!! There is NO WAY any of these cities are going to get annexed by the City of Dallas. It would cost the city WAY TOO MUCH money and money they don't have. Do you have any idea at all how much would be spent on legal fees alone to fight such? Then add in the costs of revamping ALL of the infrastructure. Good golly, what are they teaching in the schools nowadays. The costs to change everything would far outweigh ANY benefit that would come from the additional tax revenue. Which is the ONLY reason why cities annex land to start with.

Its all a conspiracy.....Dallas is holding off on annexing Cockrill Hill until the year 2015. Because all the Dallas AND FtWorth billionaires are moving there, and by most estimates they will all be nice and snugg in Cockrill Hill by then , and then BAM.....Dallas is gonna gobble em up. Once Dallas conquers Cockrill Hill they can then turn around and go after their arch enemy FT WORTH.

It'll be so GLAMOUROUS!!!!

But Fort Worth is having a field day doing just that to catch up and overtake Dallas. Again, I don't want to live in Fort Worth and my neighbors feel the same.

I don't want to live in the city, I like it in the country that is why I don't want to be annexed into Fort Worth, and all of this in an effort to catch up with and overtake Dallas, how stupid. I live outside of Fort Worth and I and most of my neighbors don't want to be annexed into any city, especially for stupid reasons.

Like that would do a lot of good. Fort Worth is just evil, as I have been saying and keep having to repeat to you, they are just annexing land so they can catch up and overtake Dallas. They don't need that land.
