I find myself in the position of having to host a bridal shower fairly quickly. Have already asked this question on The Knot and did not get good responses. Go figure.

Looking for a nice restaurant, good food with a private room where I can do Saturday lunch. Preferably Collin County.

Suggestions very welcome, thanks in advance!

The Chocolate Angel in Richardson is very nice. You would definitely need to call in advance. It looks like they have Plano locations but I don't know if those have private rooms.

How many guests do you need to seat?

Bonnie Ruth's in Frisco or Allen
Chocolate Angel in Plano or Richardson

Blue Mesa Grill in Plano offers a moderately-priced brunch on Saturdays. They do not have a private room, but depending on the size of the party, they can set aside a certain amount of tables in one of the dining areas to accommodate your party.

I'm surprised you didn't get much a response on the Knot. Most of the brides and bride to bes on that website know more about wedding-related vendors than the average person.
