My parents are retiring and relocating to be near us, in Prosper.

We have been to Frisco Lakes several times and love the amenities and the fact that it is an "over 55" community…..they would be able to join clubs and meet people easily here. However, the housing cost is so high. The prices are around $170/sq ft. which is crazy.

Our second option is Little Elm….in particular, they like houses in a neighborhood called Paloma Creek. Pricing is much lower here - at around $100/sq ft. Can anyone provide insight about this subdivision? Is is young families or older empty-nesters?

Another option could be McKinney, but again - they would like a neighborhood that is primarily empty-nesters (or at least a heavy mix.)

Thanks so much!!!!!

If they want to be around other empty nesters, then they need to do Frisco Lakes. Buy second-hand, if possible, and not new from the developer. The other areas will likely be full of young families.
