All,

I am interested to know if there are any workshops in Plano or its surrounding area that work on BMW cars. I usually get my car serviced at Classic BMW on spring creek but off late I am not too happy with their service besides my car is out of warranty and I wouldn't want to pay the dealership price to get the smallest things done. Any recommendations??

Thanks

Jacob

Dallas European Auto does good work in Plano.
Sammy (bmwservice335@gmail.com) has a shop in Euless, so it may be too far, but he is reasonably priced and experienced.
Ultimate Bimmer Service has BMW master techs that used to work at Classic BMW and are very well regarded, but is in Carrollton.

Thanks Nissan. Carrollton isn't that far my house and I do read some good reviews about Ultimate Bimmer Service. Thanks a lot for passing this information to me.

I highly recommend Silver Star Motorcars, which is located on Preston Road at George Bush (just down from Toyota of Plano). I have used them for BMWs and M-Bs. Talk to George... They have top-notch service and technicians with all the latest equipment, bulletins and specialized tools.

Eurosport did good work on two former BMWs of mine when my office was near them. I appreciated that they stood behind their work. As an example, they replaced for free an A/C compressor on my car that failed 13 months after they installed it when it had a 12-month warranty.

Couple other things that you might already know:

You can check bimmershops web site for indy shops directories and reviews.

The two dealerships (Plano and Dallas) have the so called "value" service for older generations - e46, e90, etc., which is very reasonable for oil changes and sometimes for brakes. Certainly not valid for all older models (not for M cars for sure) and you always need to show the print out/ web site to get the special, lol.
