It pays really well.You can make 6 figures if you work for someone else but millions if you are independent landman/leasebroker

Although on the other hand, from what I can tell, Haslet is very rural. Perhaps even more rural that my hometown. Population just over 1600?

I recommend Flower Mound. Great schools, it could work for Haslet or Plano.

That's about 30 miles from Plano and Dallas (were I may end up working) which would most likely turn into an hour plus commute but certainly worth looking into.

What about Carrollton? It's a bit further out from Haslet or Cedar Hill but pretty close to Dallas and Plano. What's it like?
