Sorry, I didn't see the video until now. Teacher looks frustrated and certainly wasn't behaving kindly or professionally. How would you handle a situation like this if a student is being physically aggressive, refusing to disengage or leave room, not responding to verbal requests and scaring other children or trying to hit others? Let him hurt others until his parents show up?

I'm not being sarcastic, just trying to figure out a proper response. May be he should've tried to get another teacher to reason with the student and deflate the situation? After all he was the adult there.

They go through extensive training for those situations, along with continue education.

Let me preface, I haven't lived in Houston in over 6 years now, but I can't imagine the landscape has changed that much.

Clements High School in Fort Bend ISD is most similar to Plano West. It's the crown jewel of the area. Based on diversity, academics and amenities it is identical to Plano West except half the size.

The good high schools in Katy are centered mostly around Cinco Ranch (Seven Lakes, Cinco Ranch and Taylor). These are most similar to Frisco high schools. They're great up-comers, but just never quite on the same level as Plano West.
