Happened at 3:45. Hopefully not too bad - may be terrible.

From ESD and TJ take another route.

No, but I've been thinking about using it.

I saw this wreck happen. Driver was headed north in a silver Audi sedan moving WAY (65/70?) too fast and weaving through traffic south of the school zone - myself and several others honked trying to get the driver to slow down. However, the driver didn't even begin to slow down until well into the school zone and then s/he car t-boned another sedan pulling out of Good Shepherd to turn south.

I know a few Good Shepherd parents and will ask but I'm hoping everyone is OK, it didn't look good for the driver in who got hit.

That is interesting that the speeding car was a silver Audi--
Someone on NextDoor neighborhood app reported that a silver Audi--or what looked silver in photos she posted--was speeding by her house Sunday night about 1130--took corner very fast and almost clipped her...she had gone out to check sprinklers after they came home from movie and of course it was dark...
But car should NOT have been speeding or driving so recklessly especially because it was dark and difficult to see...
Her husband came out just as car peeled by and they went after it because thought driver might have been drinking and could hit other car/people...
They found it in driveway of home in area--and took photos of the tag (temporary/new car) and phone Colleyville police --where car is registered--and Hurst--where she lives...
Police were not interested of course since no damage occurred...

Hope the speeding driver is held accountable--speeding in school zone much more serious offense--
Hope they confiscated the phone of that driver...

I am also considering getting a driver cam for my husband's car
Have any experience with one of those??

I bought one a few years ago that I've been pleased with, although I'm sure there are tons on the market now. It's a BlackVue. Back then they were really common/cheaper in Korea and I found a buy-in group to get mine. I'm not sure if you can get them here at a cheaper price now.

I use Waze and was routed home on an odd route today, Tues. I work near the VA and normally take I-35 & DNT. Today I got sent over to I-45, 75, u-turn to something to Pearl St to the DNT. It's very good about finding fast alternate routes. I also have a Uniden dash camera that was very easy to install. I have been the victim of 2 road rage incidents, no damage but very scary.

My neighbor in Hurst works in Dallas and uses it for his commute--
He said lot of people he knows use Waze--very helpful

We use it mainly when driving our TX/Fl trips--and it does pick up drivers on some smaller roads--not just Interstates--

Down loaded Waze last night. I'm a fool for not doing so a long time ago.
