Needed - Honest Feedback about Frisco high schools (Plano, Allen: how much, house)

I am seeking an honest opinion about Frisco isd and Frisco high schools. We have lived in Plano and Allen, and are currently looking to buy a house in Frisco. Having a good high school is a must. I would really appreciate some honest feedback about schools in Frisco.


Are the teachers competent and motivated? As a parent, do you feel that they care if your child succeeds?
Are good teaching resources available (good textbooks, worksheets, other media)?



How much homework does your child get? Do the teachers give time to complete assignments in class?



Does your child get review sheets before tests and exams? Does your child get feedback on tests and exams? Does your child get to see the graded papers?



How is discipline managed?



How often does your child get substitutes? Do they teach?



Are there any good clubs in the school?



What options does your child get in terms of sports?



Do the students get to go on field trips?



Are there any good extra-curricular activities that a student might enjoy?



What’s the general atmosphere / feeling like in the school – bullying, peer pressure, too much competition, too much emphasis on studies or sports, lack of communication between school-students-parents, etc. ?
