I think the consensus is: It's certainly not the best tasting or smelling water, but shouldn't give you Montezuma's Revenge.

Quoting the recent local paper, " Of the 12 sample water sites tested in March in the Plano area 5/12 tested at levels far above the allowable 80ppb for Trihalomethane allowed by the federal government." While this is concerning, the *riveting* piece of journalism goes on to state, "individual lab results, but not annual averages, are allowed to exceed the limit."

Take it how you will.

New York water is from spring fed reservoirs upstate, there is no 'processing' so the water tastes great. It's one of 5 cities in the US that have minimal water filtration; it is a gravity system from the Catskill mountains.

There aren't too many areas that have pure spring water coming out of taps; I only drink bottled water down here in Texas, but the water is fine for everything else.

Well looking at the methodology used I'm not sure that's much better than Mother Jones.

They admitted as much but how can you trust a source that ranks Plano as having the 3rd worst water but Flint MI. is not on the list at all?

Clickbait stuff like that is worthless in my book.
