We were so close to closing in Hollyhock but went across the street to Windsong Ranch in Prosper. Such an amazing decision we made. Hollyhock has nothing on Windsong and there is a considerable price savings as well. Best housing decision we've made.

We too were thinking of Hollyhock earlier but decided against it. The 2 I choose was Estates at Shaddock Park and The Grove at Frisco. (very near to each other).

We choose Shaddock Park because of two reasons, very high HOA at Grove and unnecessary high prices for the Grove. ( Not that Shaddock is way cheaper ) In fact got mails from Southgate homes about 40 -45000 summer specials on inventory in the Grove. Got similar discounts in Shaddock Park too.

One of my criteria was to have an exercise room / equipment in the amenities. Earlier Shaddock park did not have that, but went ahead and bought a home here. Now that they have corrected and adding exercise room, which becomes added advantage post buying home.

I was looking for homes the old communities in same school zone as suggested by someone earlier. The home owners were asking the same prices builder was asking for brand new home. So choose new instead.

My kid go to Norris and I have not seen 60% Indian here. May be few classes do have, buy my experience is based on my kids class size.

Good luck with your search.
