The architecture in Fair Park is just ok, and the set up is really bad since they had to work around a stadium. It's really just facias on boring warehouse buildings that are really poorly maintained if you look at them up close. If you were here longer than 2 days or whatever then maybe it would be worth a trip, but if I were you I'd skip Fair Park and book a trip to South Beach instead. That's art deco just like Fair Park on functional buildings that you can enter, and South Beach is a architectural pleasure to visit.

Maybe in 10 years too as a company called Spectra (I think) bought Fair Park and supposedly is going to fix it up.

I think Overdog hit his head this morning or he's confusing the swine barn and goat pens with the Esplanade and Tower Building. There is zero in common between warehouses and these spaces.

Anyone into "art deco" at all will be blown away from Fair Park.

Both SMU and Fair Park are directly served by light rail. Dallas Arboretum served by the 60 bus. None of these destinations requires "a LOT" of time.
