We need to be careful to distinguish between Merriman Park and Merriman Park Estates. Merriman Park is the area between NW Highway and Abrams while Merriman Park Estates is between Abrams and Skillman. Merriman Park Elementary in RISD serves Merriman Park Estates. Merriman Park is served by DISD Hotchkiss Elementary.

Are you implying that RISD isn't a good district or just making sure OP doesn't think they're in the same district?
