I know North Texas is prone to extreme weather, but baseball to softball size hail usually doesn't occur like this in June. That's typically of springtime. Parts of The Metroplex got hit hard on Sunday and Monday night around 10ish. Another supercell storm with very large hail was heading towards Tarrant County to Dallas County. I know Mansfield got hit hard. I not sure if y'all heard the sirens, but I had to go cover my car. Did anyone get any damage from the recent hail?

Very unusual for June, usually the bad hail is over by May.

Check your roofs and only use legitimate local roofers to do any work. Watch out for the out of town scammers.

My parents in Rockwall had enough hail damage on Saturday that their roof will need to be replaced. We just finished a replacement of our roof from mid-March storms.

Storms like this are why my husband and I always have covered places to park our vehicles. Although huge hailstones are very rare, hail itself is not uncommon.

Keep your vehicles in the garage.

I agree; it'll keep rates down for the rest of us too.

Yep, I’ve been putting off cleaning my garage out, but I’m doing it now. Last night had me very worried.

Today, there’s another potential for very large hail.

Sorry to hear that. I know that sucks.

It seems like Collin County gets hit every year with the large hail.

Sorry to hear that. I still have PTSD from the massive hail storm that hit Wylie where I live back in 2016. Softball sized hail, tore up our home. We were stuck in a hotel all the way in Plano for 3 months while the repairs were being made. Fun times.
