Demand shooting prices through the roof with people paying premium for these homes not realizing its a bubble. I'm glad I left right on time before the bubble burst. The infrastructure is lagging behind and cannot keep up with the influx of people.

I have several questions in response...

First, why does the video show housing that appears to be in California or some new desert southwest area? He would lead one to believe that represented the cities or housing he was talking about.

Second, since when could you get a "decent" house in Frisco for $375K, and since when was Celina costlier than Frisco?

Third, where is that "natural beauty" in Rockwall? That man-made lake isn't all too attractive, and it's surrounded by aging urban/suburban development. If you want natural beauty, you're not going to find it in Texas.

There's more, but I think the narrator should start there.

Did I miss something? When did it burst? If there is a bubble, it's still bubbling. People have become more selective on what neighborhoods and houses they'll live, but that's only made the original problem worse. You are correct, though, that the infrastructure is not keeping up. People don't seem to care, though.

Because they all thought they could time the market and blah blah blah DFW is overpriced and not sustainable.

Now they're priced out and have no option but to move to BFE and start the same cycle all over again.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Bye Felicia...

The circular logic in this video hurts my head. People are leaving because of sprawl. And bad traffic. So come move to Frisco!

I think this video is well-done for someone who clearly has not lived in DFW. I wasn’t aware the COL in Bonham was 22% less than in Dallas.

The biggest issue is the recommendations are still close enough that before long, you’d just be dealing with many of the same headaches, but in some ways will be worse, because you’ll be that much further out. So on the event you do have to drive into a suburb or the city, the traffic and congestion is that much more stressful since you’re so far away.

The more viable solution (if you’re retired or work remote), is to move to a different state / city where the development is not happening at the same rate and growth is more balanced.
