Hi everyone, I was planning on going to the state fair on sunday. I'm planning on taking the TRE rather than pay parking but from there is it easy to get to the fair? Will a bus be easy to hop on? Thanks.

TRE to Union Station (Dallas), then get on the DART rail to Pearl Station. At Pearl Station, get on the State Fair Shuttle. That will take you to Fair Park. They give you $2 off admission.

I don't think TRE runs on Sundays. At least, it didn't used to.

oh yeah that's right, bummer, well I'll figure something out. Maybe I'll just have to go saturday or during the week. Looks like it is running later though. I work near downtown and thought about taking the TRE to work but I don't get off work til 11:30 and by then from what I remember the last train would have already left but now looks like the train runs til just past midnight so that's awesome news.

The TRE is running on Sundays during the State Fair, using their Saturday schedule.

I read the TRE is running on Sunday's while the State Fair is going on. Sounds like a good way to go to avoid all the parking hassles.

No, don't get off the TRE at Union Station. Get off the TRE at Victory station, then catch the Green line train there and proceed to Fair Park.
