I'm moving to Dallas in the 1st quarter of 2008. After research, I've narrowed my choices down to

Addision
Richardson
Carrollton

Which is better for a single lady, grad level, early 40's. Best schools, more quiet and middle-class. Diversity is important, as I am African American.

Thanks for the feed-back.

I personally would recommend Richardson or Garland, though, I believe these were discussed in your previous post.

I'm also moving to that area for my husbands job. He will be working in Addison. We have an almost 2 yr old and want to be somewhere nice, quiet and safe. But also close to things to do. Never been to Dallas (or texas for that matter). Out of these three areas, which one is the best to live? We are also still pretty young, 24-25. Schools don't matter right now as we'll just be renting till we figure out where we want to buy a house. Any suggestions? Know of any good apartments in those 3 areas? Opinions please!

I'm your are (25) and and would definitely recommend Addison. Lots of young people and TONS of restaurants and night life. It's location makes it easy to get to any other part of Dallas. Before I bought a house, I lived in St. Moritz apartments. Never had a problem and are reasonably cheap. Good luck!
