Does Lakewood Elementary have a dual language program? How does Stonewall Jackson compare? What are the extracurricular activities there?

Are you sure it has dual language? I've looked, but can't find anything about it. I know Lakewood is starting IB in high school, but I can't find anything about a dual language program in elementary. Can you provide a link if it does have it? thanks.

I'd like to know to since I've never heard anyone locally talk about it (I live near White Rock Lake). But I have heard about the dual language program at Rosemont in North Oak Cliff.

I've not heard of Lakewood having it. I've heard of Rosemont having dual language, and also Withers in North Dallas.

Lakewood has it a dual language program. My nephew is enrolled in it at Lakewood. As I understand it, all DISD schools offer it. Lakewood and Stonewall Jackson are statistically in a dead heat. Can't go wrong with either one.

Default Updates on Lakewood information

I found this info directly on DISD website under Lakewood's page. I didn't bother correcting the misspelled word! Thanks for all the input.

Agree about Lakewood and Stonewall Jackson being great, but not all DISD schools provide dual language. They do provide bilingual education, it's not the same thing.
