Update: Which one would YOU choose?

$1330 non-negotiable for the townhome with 1 car garage, 1010 sq feet, no his and hers sink, white finish white appliances, smaller closet. 1 bedroom 1.5 bath

$1460 (negotiated down from $1520) for the brownstone with 2 car garage, 1060 sq feet, his and hers sink, nice finish with black appliances, larger walk-in closet. 1 bedroom 1.5 bath

$130 difference over 13 months for an extra car garage, nicer finishings, and an extra 50-ish sq feet

Well the 1 car garage has a driveway behind it and i confirmed you are allowed to park 1 in the garage and the other in your driveway

but yeah, it will be a HUGE convenience

I would definitely grab the one for $1460. The 2 car garage is gold in that neighborhood.

The townhome we were eyeing was leased yesterday... was going for $1275... we were saying the 1 car garage and driveway wouldnt be bad.

but now that the townhome is $1330... I think I'm leaning toward the brownstone with all the extra perks, a little more space, and the 2 car garage.

We recently moved to a townhouse the corner of State & Allen in Uptown and love, love, love the area! We're right across from one of the Post apartment buildings-- my only advice is to be aware that it can get a little loud Thurs. thru Sat. nights until around 2 am because of the State/Allen Lounge. I would choose an apartment that is on the side of the building not facing Allen, or State...

Default Just a note!!!!

Stay away from the Cirque. It will only take you a week after you move in to pray for a way out. The Monterey is not so plush but I found that the people were so friendly and helpful. Good Luck

Do you guys think we're making a mistake by living in dallas/uptown when one works in Plano and the other in downtown Ft Worth? At the age of 23, we just wanted to avoid the suburbs and inner cities and live a city life for a year or 2 of our lives... but will these commutes be awful? (specifically hers to ft worth)

I know some people said Las Colinas... but do we really want to live there at our age and be 20 minutes away from downtown Dallas?

Getting a bit worried about our commutes. Am I just worrying too much? It looks like it huh....
