That would be super awesome of you! I don't get out of work until 5:30pm and was going to wait until traffic on the tollway died down a bit before heading that way since I live near downtown Dallas.

So many better places in L.A. than they show on those shows. But they do hit some of the good ones. You should have gone to Philippe's

Home page looks interesting..will have to bookmark it for him! He is fascinated by all the quirky food places they show on Travel Channel. So far the only one I would go to again is Randy's Donuts...best I've ever had.

Forgive me if this information has already been posted - keeping up with this thread is almost a part-time job.

I was under the impression following this thread that the Frisco location is opening up on Wednesday. This article from the Orange County Register says that the Frisco and Allen locations will open up on Wednesday. I'm sorry if this has already been posted. I am going to head to the Allen location because I think it will be less crowded.

Texas In-N-Out restaurants to open Wednesday | restaurants, texas, open - The Orange County Register

In-N-Out opening first Texas units Wednesday

Top In-N-Out Burger officials are flying to Texas today, as the Irvine-based chain confirms that its first two restaurants in Dallas will open Wednesday.

Frisco and Allen (addresses) will open at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11. If lines start to swell early, chain officials said each restaurant is prepared to open its doors earlier.

To ensure operations run smoothly, In-N-Out has flown out two "All Star" crews to oversee operations at each restaurant. All Star teams are veteran employees who help new restaurants manage the masses at new store openings.

"We have full All Star teams at each restaurant and they will be there for several weeks," executive Carl Van Fleet told me today.

Van Fleet said the management teams at each restaurant "are all experienced managers" that have relocated to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Some "experienced associates" have transferred, as well.

As for the next Dallas area restaurant?

"The third restaurant is still up in the air and is probably a few months out," he said.

The Allen and Frisco restaurants are the first of at least eight known locations where In-N-Out plans to open in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The chain has repeatedly said that Allen or Frisco will be among the first restaurants to open.

over rated in what way? If you are comparing IN&Out to a $5.00 or $6.00 burger, sure, but compared to others under $2 there can be absolutely no comparison.
