I am looking for cheap restaurants with good food in north Dallas. I always eat out for lunch and dinner, so I usually try to eat at place with good prices. The best priced restaurant with good food so far I have found is:

Roma Palace (Indian Restaurant) in Garland - $4.99 lunch buffet

There few of other restaurants I go to with similar pricing, though most of the others are closer to $8-10 for buffer price. However, I am sort of getting tried of going to same places frequently. Any suggestion for restaurants with good prices would be helpful.

Probably too far to go, but you might want to try it anyway.

Vickery Park in Downtown Plano has very good food, a lot (most) of it is under $10 and on Mondays (I think) they do half priced pizzas, which are insanely good. They also provide an awesome laid back and familiar atmosphere. Soft drinks are bottomless... which I guess is kind of the norm.

I actually go Chameli every week, pepper131! It does have pretty good food.

I will check out Vickery Park maybe. I actually in east Plano almost all the time anyhow.

I don't mind driving for awhile to get their either. I actually spend a lot of mine weekends driving around to random places around DFW.

I'd definitely try Vickery Park, their Texas Tacos are great, so is everything else I've tried there. (Which is the Brisket Sandwich, Pizza, Fried Calamari appetizer (more than enough for two), Rosemary Chicken, Chipotle Alfredo Pasta (pretty spicy) and the LAndmark Hamburger, but I'm sure the rest is great too.

Mumtaz in Richardson on Campbell has a nice Indian buffet, and Fadi's Mediterranean buffet is good in Dallas on Preston Road (there is another one on Knox in Dallas and one in Frisco)
