Hi All,
We are moving to the Dayton area in Jun 08. I am trying to find out about the Beavercreek and Bellbrook area. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks
Lisa in TX

The high schools there have great football and basketball teams. They really kicked Oakwood's "you know what" several times!

Aside from the teams, the schools are very good. The neighborhood in those areas are very mixed from lower middle to upper middle class. Very well patrolled by well-educated and professional police force.

Bellbrook is not quite as countryish as Beavercreek but both are an excellent choice for raising children or retirement.

Bellbrook.com

Main Page (broken link)

Welcome to Greene County, Ohio - Local Government Web Portal

Here are some more links to areas around Bellbrook and Greene County. You won't be alone being the only person from Texas as a lot of military people make moves through that state. Both schools are well ranked in the state, but US News and World report ranks Bellbrook higher. Money magazine ranked Beavercreek 84th in the top 100 places to live in 2007 (one of only a handful of Ohio cities to be ranked). Either way, you are getting a good community.
