Here in MA it is all about Whitey Bulger....OMG we cannot get any regular news.
There's an article about mob wives in the current issue of NEWSWEEK (one of the many freebie magazines I get). I think Whitey was mentioned in it.
When I worked, I always watched/listened to the news on TV while getting dressed in the AM. Now that I'm retired, I never listen to the news at all. (I do read some of the local newspaper online.)
I read that people who dont pay attention the news live longer. I love TruTV, Investigation Discovery and those kinds of shows, though -- so I guess I wont live that long after all.
Last post for now....Did I miss an announcement of Glory's newest star?? If so, it's probably because I dont watch the TV news anymore. CONGRATS, dear Glory!!
He calls it a "disease." I figured it was just a "condition."
The parathyroid glands are found right behind the thyroid glands. They are little bitty things and they control the amount of calcium in the blood. The disease I have is called hyperparathyroid. The parathyroids are not reading the amount of calcium in my blood correctly. I have too much as a result and it is being pulled out of my bones by these little glands. I figured the bone situation was the big deal but the really big deal is damage to the kidneys.
So, he has to go in through my neck and remove the glands that are misbehaving. One or more of them (there are usually 4 but there can be as much as 7 or 8 in different locations) has a tumor on it. He's going after the tumor(s), too.

Does anyone else on here use Photobucket? For the past month, I've not been able to resize any photo's. Anyone else having this problem? Maybe they pulled the option for free accounts, but I really don't think so.
Nothing new here. I have to go to WalMart today for transmission fluid and wood glue. Doesn't that sound like a REAL exciting purchase? Tomorrow is PAYDAY though....so I have that one to look forward to. Other than that, this week has been a complete dud for me.
Good Morning everyone happy almost 4th of July weekend. I plan on taking care of those pouches this weekend Camper.
TFW I can't stand watching the news either...I try to catch the first ten minutes at 10PM but usually dose off anyway with the droning voices...always the same news for days on end.
Anyone doing anything good for the weekend? I am laying low with my feet up on my deck and my nose hopefully in a good book while sipping daiquari's.
