Looking to possibly relocate in Delaware in Lewes region,and surrounding areas. Does anyone live there,and is it a good p,ace to retire to.

I live in the Lewes area zip code just west of route 1, about 4 miles from downtown Lewes and Cape Henlopen State park. I retired here 8 1/2 years ago and would not want to live anywhere else.

We moved almost 10 years ago and love it. BUT. What do you enjoy doing? IS shopping important to you?
What is your budget? House or town home? Retired to still working?
IF you are a shopper be advised that there are speciality shops and outlets for the most part. Christiana Mall is a bit over an hour away and that is a large mall.
Dover has a few stores, Boscov's and Kohls and JC Penny. Macys is just a pick up location now, if you are a hopper. That is about 40 minutes from Rehoboth.
