Post looking for nice lake property in DE>

My husband have lived on the water most of our lives but the taxes are too expensive to remain there in CT> we are looking to move to a nice lake in DE. does anyone know of a single family area with docks directly on a lake. or any way we could find lake properties listed somewhere on the net? There doesn't seem to be much out there and yet I know there must be homes that are nice for sale/HELP CLOCKMON

I don't think DE really has lakes, other than the man made ponds in all these new developments. The state is very flat and the water table is bout 12" below ground. If you dig a hole, you have a pond. You could buy 10 acres and an excavator.
