hello -
im seriously considering a move (back) to denver from california - i lived in denver back in the late 90s and then moved back to la for family. prices here have skyrocketed in the last few years. how is the pricing on new construction there for condos in the central area? has prices gone up alot there as well?

Central being LoDo? You can get a loft for $200-500 a square foot. Other new construction goes for $120-180 a square foot. DU/Stapelton/Highlands...We have been slow and stable since 2001.

Talked to a guy today, who is retiring, the condo he bought near DIA 3 years ago will net him less than $5,000. Meanwhile he tells me his home in CA has gone up $150,000...on paper, at least.
