How bad are the bugs in Littleton?? Gnats, Mosquitos, everything that bites!!!

I live on Coastal Ga and here the Gnats are bad. I can't go outside
6 months out of the year unless you use a load of bug spray.

We are looking to reclocate In Littleton summer 2010

Is there some electrical job opportunity ???
Residential, commercial or maintenance.

Thanks for your input

Jeff, not that many bugs here due to the dryness of the climate. No one here talks about termites, though I expect they do exist. There are mosquito's but they won't carry you away like they do in moist areas.

I haven't used bug spray or gotten a mosquito bite since moving here 18 months ago. I know there are areas/times when you do need bug spray, but so far I haven't encountered them. VERY nice change of pace from NJ!

I've only had to use mosquito spray in the summer/fall when walking near the creeks, rivers, etc. But otherwise.. spiders are the only thing I've had to contend with. :-)

This. You will not encounter bugs unless you are by a stream or lake.

When we are home, we leave our back door open all day during the spring/summer/fall so our dogs can come in and out as they please. We never see mosquito.

I will bring bug spray when hiking to be safe. I rarely use it except when backpacking at night.

Default bugs?

Your question really made me laugh! (Not at you, of course.)

I am from Denver - now in Texas, and I can tell you more than you ever wanted to know about bugs. The roaches alone down here are big enough for a small saddle.

I miss Denver terribly - and hope to get back there to retire.

A can of bug spray in Colorado would last me for YEARS....down here, in the summer, it will last a couple of weeks. I kid you not.

That's sooo nice to hear!

I'm moving from the Chicago burbs next week. Out here, the mosquitos will eat you alive every summer. It's disgusting.
