Of course the number one thing you would change would be the food but what else? Or is it just the food that people hate about Casa Bonita.

On a side note who knew there were other Casa Bonita's out there.

Probably.... nothing. They have been in business for over 40 years. So they must be doing something right. Changing a proven successful business strategy, is never a good idea. But there is always someone who thinks they can do better. Those are the businesses that usually last about a year.

Number one change? The food. It was never gourmet to begin with but the last couple of times we went the all-you-can-eat beef was atrocious. It was gritty and tasted almost nothing like meat - as if they'd cut it with corn meal or something to make it go further.

After that, the interior needs work. There's always a hint of must in there.

Of course another problem is that it's in the ghetto, but that's harder to fix

After unwittingly venturing into SE Fort Worth after dark, the neighborhood around Casa Bonita really isn't that scary to me anymore, but it's still a dump.

I've never been there, but if it's so bad, how have they stayed in business all these years? Front for some illegal business?

Because it's a tourist attraction and people go for the atmosphere. People that live here bring out of towners in, birthday parties, etc..

None of their success is based off of the food.
