You might find more EVs and hybrids in Washington. That's what I found when I helped my daughter buy a car up there.

I'd expect to find more 2WD vehicles in Seattle, where snow is rare.

Seattle salts its streets for snow, and Colorado doesn't. That might be a reason not to buy the Seattle car.
I’ve lived in Seattle for 40 years. I’ve yet to see any salt except on the table. Lots of sand on the streets, but no salt. And with lots of wet hilly streets, AWD or at least front wheel drive is a blessing.

I recently went through the new car buying thing. From my experience, most of the dealers nowadays are maintaining very limited new car inventories, so your options are few no matter where you're shopping. If you're willing to order, you can probably get what you want but it will take a few months. The used car scene is better and there's certainly more choices. Also, Denver is NOT a cheaper market for cars, particularly 4x4 vehicles that are better in the snow. If you find what you are looking for back in WA, my advice would be to purchase it there. If you can't find the right vehicle for you in WA, then purchase it in Denver. We were perfectly willing to purchase out-of-state for our needs, but got lucky after weeks of looking. It's really more about locating the right vehicle at a reasonable price. Waiting until you get to Denver likely won't save you any money or hassle as Denver is an expensive market in general. Good luck!
