Every once in awhile they have a segment on that Yellowstone volcano on either the travel, discovery, or history channel. I can't remember which one. It's pretty interesting.

They say that all of Yellowstone is basically one huge volcano, and if it erupts, a lot of the U.S., and world are in trouble.

You can read about "significant" earthquakes in Colorado and there haven't been many of much magnitude here: Colorado

actually if i remember, there was one a few years ago, it was VERY small.
there were also some in Colorado in the 60's and 70's as well, that had something to do with pumping stuff they should not have into the ground, lubed up the plates and they shifted a bit.

i work for an insurance company in the area. some people like the idea of having the earthquake endorsement on their policy because earthquake isnt just a large scale movement. since the earths crust isnt settled, it can, at any time, move. and if there's damage to your property, you would want coverage. no policy would cover it unless it was added on. its pretty cheap in the denver area. the western slope and utah starts getting REALLY pricey.
