Midtown is selling very well.
It is in unincorporated Adams County. There is no IGA.
The school (Mapleton) sucks.
I would not buy there, but what do I know.

The homes there are so cool! Especially the Brookfield collection. I think with all the open/blighted/old businesses on large parcels area around there that if Midtown takes off and sells out developers will be quick to snatch these up and the whole are could turn out really cool with newer infrastructure that will compare very well with the old areas of Denver. However it will take some time for this to happen.

How's the family situation up there? That the local schools are so poorly rated give me a big pause when considering it as a location to move to.

I don't have any info. on the family situation. I've only visited the models. I saw older adults walking dogs. They have courtyards as opposed to yards which is attractive to those who don't want a yard to care for. I think if you can it is best to go on a Sat. or Sun. and just hang out to see if there are kids. I was there on a weekday during school hours so if there were kids and working adults I would not have seen them.
