I suspect Zerilli was given false info by those who actually were in the know. Perhaps they were afraid Zerilli would be a stool pigeon someday. Probably a moot point now as the principals are likely all dead. Zerilli probably believed Hoffa was buried where he said he was.

I also suspect Hoffa was either incinerated or thrown out in the trash, as organized crime had (still has, I think) considerable influence in the industry of waste hauling around here. This is the simplest answer I can think of, though the ideas of him being buried under Giants Stadium in NJ or somewhere in Interstate 696 are interesting.

(However Harry Bennet did live nearby, so maybe the will find him. I hope they will still put the pond in for me if they find him).

Is there really anyone left alive who still cares where his body is? What are they doing? It seems completely crazy to me. Go catch a killer who has not been dead for 15 years please.

Last I heard he was buried on the 50 yard line at Giants Stadium.

Someone really close to the case--and I mean really close, way back when it all went down--and in a rare position to know the best theories told me his best guess was that they "took him down river, chopped him up and shipped him back east."

I am not saying this person was saying that he "knew." Just that he was in the middle of it all, really, and that was his best guess, for whatever reason. He never really explained that part to me.

See! He is in our yard!. We are downriver and as far east as you can get downriver. Your source was just being a bit vague. He knew hoffa was in our yard.

Calling the FBI now . . .

Wai, I need to cut the grass and move the trampoline. I should also probably stake out the areas I need them to dig in and fill. Maybe I will just send them grading plans.

Good luck with that! LOL

I was living in Detroit when Jimmy Hoffa disappeared and remember all the hoorah about it. At the time I was working just past downtown and watching a freeway being worked on on my way there. Don't recall which one or what they were doing...anyway... At the time I thought that I bet they'd find him in a 50 gallon drum filled with acid buried under that freeway somewhere. For whatever reason I still think that.

No one is ever going to find Jimmy Hoffa. Would they be stupid enough to leave a whole body intact? I doubt it. They probably ran him through the wood chipper and spread him out over a wide area.
