Thought this subforum needed a different topic for a change.

Hour Detroit Magazine - 101 Things Every Detroiter Should Do - Things To Do In Detroit

There are some really interesting things on this list. Get some friends and try to do something on this list at least every week and you will be busy for years.

Default Great list Marvin!

Thanks for sharing. Some things are in the Detroit 'burbs, but that's OK. If this is your bucket list, you're not destined to die for awhile!

The same thing that always happens in these topics.

People let their emotions get in the way of a civil, fact-based discussion.

How in the hell?

Edit: Retroit filled me in. Well... it's Detroit forums... can't say I'm surprised smh. Reflects perfectly on one of Michigan's major problems.

I'm coming home to Detroit in the next couple of weeks, so I WILL do a couple of the things on the list!

I missed all the hoo-hah that happened in this thread, too. Kinda glad. Too many Debbie Downers on here. Accentuate the positive, e-liminate the negative, or at least try to.

Get the Ball Rolling
Aim for a perfect 300 at Detroit's Garden Bowl. The bowling alley, located in Midtown on Woodward Avenue, was built in 1913 and is the country's oldest functioning bowling center. But you don't really have to bowl. You can also just sit back at the bar, order a pizza, and watch the fluorescent lighting make the Garden Bowl glow.
