Trying to find a rental home/apartment between Livonia and Waterford (Farmington Hills: homes, live)

I am trying to find a decent but affordable (around $600) apartment between my mothers(Livonia) and my fathers(Waterford). I recently had a baby and will traveling to their homes frequently to visit with the baby but dont want to have to drive a hour to one and five minutes to the other. If I had to be closer to one of them it would be my mother (livonia)

PLEASE HELP!!!

(ones that allow large dogs is a bonus...but not necessary!!)

Have you looked on craigslist? Do you want a 2 bedroom? The areas I was thinking could either be Farmington or Farmington Hills or parts of Novi. I am sure there are many apts complexes in Livonia if you want to be real close to your mom. Pick up one of those apt books. Where do you live now? Sorry more questions then answers. I do know that downtown farmington has more inexpensive but older apts.
