Just a 16 hour fast yesterday. I am fighting off a head cold. I've been fighting it for a couple of weeks now, and I really wish it would just happen, or go away already!

I did shut down early yesterday - after really eating! (remember "starve a fever, feed a cold"). So I ate a lot of carbs yesterday, all healthy-ish though. No junk food, which is a win for me.

I also got some great sleep last night, it should be a 19-21 hour fast today....

21 hour fast yesterday, and a good day overall. Great sleep again last night.

Still fighting this stupid head cold. I hope it goes away by tomorrow - I have Endgame tickets!

Just shy of 17 hour fast yesterday. We went our for brunch. It's so freeing to be able to order whatever sounds good and not be worried about counting calories, or if it's on my diet or not.

Hubby and I split a turkey bacon sandwich on sourdough. It was divine. Finished that and went straight into a fast. I'm currently in a 30 hour fast. Hubby is making pulled pork sandwiches for dinner tonight. Yum!

Endgame today! I will enjoy this movie, head cold or otherwise!

Lucy I'm sorry you're still sick, hopefully the movie is at least good.

29 hour fast yesterday. Overall a nice relaxing Sunday at home. Hubby and I walked six miles, even though it was super cold and windy. Hubby made pulled pork sandwiches, they were SO good! Looking forward to the leftovers later on this week.

I'm going for a 20 hour fast today. So far, so good.

I'm so jealous of your six mile walk! I keep resting, and sleeping (which is good, because insomnia is a huge issue for me), and my head cold just keeps getting worse. Going to work today, because resting doesn't seem to be working. Let's just get this thing and get it over with!

The movie was great fun - so glad I saw it (and took cold meds right beforehand). Now I can safely peruse the interwebs again!

18 hour fast yesterday. Should be the same today. Lots of rain in the forecast for the coming week - so we're having chili for dinner! Yum....

Lucy glad to hear that your resting and getting some sleep in. Hopefully you can kick your head cold asap. Also glad that you enjoyed the movie. My fifteen year old and her friend are planning on watching it this weekend.

I fasted 21 hours yesterday and did just shy of a nine Mike walk, five in the morning, and another almost five with hubby after dinner. Today there will be no walking. It's supposed to rain/snow and we have to drop our fifteen year old for some volunteering at the food bank after dinner tonight. I'll make up for the lack of walking tomorrow.

I'm doing an OMAD today if everything goes as planned and it's just a chill day at home. I wish Mother Nature would get the message that it's spring and knock this whole snow thing off already. Last year our last day of snow was April 30th, so hopefully this year follows suit.

Had a low blood sugar last night.
I hadn't used any insulin at all the last two days but I needed to use some last night.
Didn't think I shot that much, but wow... big crash. Woke up to a 55 blood sugar.

Ate a Pop Tart to get it back up. I always keep some around for such things.

It would not shock me if my insulin sensitivity is up, so I gotta be careful.

I have done 16/8 most days. I try to do a 24 fast at least once a week. By hour 19-22 I find I get really hungry. Sometimes I can get through to 24 but some times I cave.

Anyone else find this? What do you do to get through it?
