Here's a study out of australia showing that when you have even just one candy bar first thing in the morning it alters the DNA that protects us from diabete's and heart disease for up to two weeks even if you had no more candy bars and infact over the long term of eating bad can permanently alter it.

Actually, my mom (who has a masters in biology) and I were talking about this yesterday. I was griping about so many people not learning English and she replied that generations of poor prenatal diets can certainly result learning disabilities and I should have more patience towards the situation. It is possible that a great many problems in learning and lacking attention spans of our generation are a direct result of prenatal diets.

I ate a lot of junk while I was pregnant. No wonder my teens were so annoying.

Yeap i remember that show..... It also talked about the ''Thrifty Gene'' and how that gene is going to cause a health crises over in china as people in the rural western parts went generations of eating low calories as they were dirt poor and now moving to the huge cities in eastern china and now eating ''fast food'' as their genomes aren't primed for that.
