Thanks! She is as goofy and sweet as ever! Although......Chris tells me she heard BARKING the other day....Jai NEVER barks...and so Chris looks out into the backyard. Here is a guy...who is painting the next door neighbors house and he is trying to reach over into the yard to grab a grapefruit that is growing low and by the fence! Jai knew it was her grapefruit! Chris said...Jai was very unsure of herself, but knew to bark...and almost seemed relieved when Chris came out the door. So....we know she has some "protective instinct" in her....which is a good thing!
Despite the fact her ears are now standing up the are still pretty cute ears and she remains a gorgeous dog. I hope the painter got the message that stealing is wrong
My brothers Shar Pei , Buster use to try to act protective after all they are guard dogs but you could see a huge sigh of relief when a human family member came out and took over or if that bad person that entered his yard turned out to be someone he knew that was trying to pretend to be a bad guy. ( he was really a huge chicken!)
That dog is just plain cute ears and all. I swear I think Jai is grinning from ear to ear.
