Yeah, we have a running joke in the house, when UPS is on our block, we ask the dogs, "what does brown do for you?" ...and they start barking... It's kind of amusing.

The only the things that the boys watch are "The Dog Whisperer" with Cesar Milland and "Pit Bulls and Parolees." ...and the ocassional dog barking or cat meowing. The Purina commercials have never really caught their attention. After reading the ingredients label...it quickly lost my interest.

This T.V. ad, and the scented "billboards are only in Germany. The T.V. ad is also in Austria, as I understand it .... for now at least.

If you are thinking of playing the ad for your dog remember the combination of the audio quality on You Tube and your computer speakers wipes out a great deal of the high end of the audio spectrum.

the sad part is, if people actually buy that junk for thier dogs simply because it reacted to a sound n the tv...
the kind of people buying that stuff arnt realy the kind of people that pay all that much attention anyway though so... lol.

I'm kind of intrigued by the scent poster ads mentioned below the article. Wonder how that's going to end up. I imagine a lot of owners might start avoiding walking near certain spots when Fido begins pulling them towards a poster everyday thinking there's food around. Knowing my dog, she'd probably stand there licking the poster for 10 minutes if she had the chance.

i dont think theyd smell so much liek dog food after a while...ive yet to meet a dog who isnt more than happy to PEE on anything they think is intreeguing...it would smell more like dog urine than beneful after a relitivly short time if its low enough to the ground for dogs to actually get a whiff...
for the most part scent needs to eb at ground level for dogs to "track" it...

Yeah, but dogs will mark things that smell of other dogs (to cover that smell with their own) or to reinforce their own scent. I doubt dogs will pee on something that smells edible. Otherwise, most dogs would pee on their food.

I guess it depends how strong the poster scent will be.
