Of all dogs I forgot to post my foster Runzel.
When I brought her home she was only 6 weeks old. She had been bought and then given up by this time. So she was even younger when they purchased her.-

I would love to foster, but I wouldn't be able to give them up! It really takes a strong person with a huge heart to foster! I do want to get involved at a rescue or shelter. I want to find an APBT rescue to volunteer at (or some kind of "pit bull" breed or bully breed), but if I can't find a rescue around here I'm going to volunteer at the shelter that's a few miles down the road from us. I might do some volunteering at a rescue and the shelter.. I don't know, I still have to check into everything. I can't wait to get involved!

What part of Florida are you in. I know of several rescues I might be able to pin point you to a bully breed rescue near you.

And everyones does are too cute!!

CityByTheBay - Your sweaty looks kind of like Sugar a dog I work with.

Teddie , we have been in the market for a APBT, American staffordshire or Staffordshire terrier. We were going to buy from a breeder and decided to adopt from a rescue instead. We shifted gears over night ( literally) and thought it better to safe a life than buy for a pedigree. If you could give me any info at all about rescues/shelters for these breeds in Florida, I would be most thankful. We have found only 1 rescue in Florida and they have only 4 dogs . We need a puppy due to our situation with the love of our life ( our min pin ). Socializing a grown dog with her just won't work, but she is very tolerant with puppies and has great motherly instincts with them. We live in Sarasota county, but I am willing to drive across the state if we find the right dog for us. Great pictures everyone , Brianh gets rep for the dog going down the slide... that is the best !!!

Thanks!
When there is nobody in the kids playpark we let him loose. He goes directly to the slide and goes down it over and over and over again all by himself. He loves it. We never pushed him down it once.
