All I can say is God bless this dog, and God bless the people who took him in...what a remarkable story of courage, faith, and the power of love! Oogy has been on Oprah...now how cool is THAT?

I know this story! I love it! It's something that I think we really need to push forward and get the word out!

I Love this story too. What a remarkable dog! I like the fact that everyone came together to care for this dog. Not all the vets would do that.

My husband and I watched the Oogy story with amazement on Oprah! He is an incredible dog and lives with the coolest family.

Did you see the way the family's teenage sons spoke about the dog? And the things they did for the dog (sleeping on the living room floor with him). Those are nice kids.

Yeah...great kids, and they are adopted as well! I just can't imagine...if dogs could only do the math...everyone from God to the police department to the vet to the loss of the cat worked out for Oogy to have a perfectly wonderful life. There are Cinderella tales, aren't there?

Well that is cool, surprising with Oprah being the bad things she had to say about Pit Bulls not too long ago. I'm glad this doggy got a shot on the show.

What a heart rending story Sam What a happy ending for that big guy. I was in tears reading that (thanks a lot, I'm getting my keyboard all wet)
Too bad there are such cruel people out there that do such horrible things to animals.

Here is another story. I am wondering whether anyone can call them to see whether they can take in two abandoned pitbulls in HIF postings. This is the shelter I make my donation regularly. I know two of their staff very well. One of them has 12 pit bulls in her home. Her shepherd is my dog's playmate. But they have so many pitbulls and have refused to take in more in the past. But give them a try to see what they will say. The story below is kind of shocking for me. As we all live in beautiful gated communities, it is shocking to see that dog fighting exists around us and right outside our gates.
