Xylitol is a sweetening additive. If the store is just grinding peanuts to make the butter, there wouldn't be any xylitol in it!

My understanding it xylitol IS in Anything that marked Diet No Calories Low Calories.. From Peanut Nut Butter to Gum. Goodness knows what else READ the LABLE then you know.

Xylitol is a sugar alcohol used as a sugar substitute ... Everyone knows Alcohol is Deadly to animals.

never understood our fascination with sweetening everything. Nuts don't need sweetening. How about applesauce? Doesn't need sweetening. Sweet peas? Don't need sweetening...Sweet corn? Many, many more...
