It is not the dogs fault, it never is!
I already see the sad ending here. The dog owners will live happily ever after and their dog will face euthenization at a shelter. And on and on all over the place this happens. This is exactly why the shelters are full, because of ------ ----- like them!

Thank you for your comments and sugestions. I am glad to report that he found a taker for the dog and it now lives on a 250 acre farm. The new owner did tell him that it managed to escape a cattle trailer on it's first night, but at least it has plenty of room to roam now.
It was a sweet dog and I could tell it was just in the wrong situation as it wanted a 'job' to keep it occupied.
At least this was resolved in good fashion!

Hey there....

I can understand your frustration and totally relate. I have also been having issues with some neighborhood dogs since May. These dogs mauled and killed my chihuahua and nothing has been done about them staying off of my property. We did put up a small fenced area for my dog but now they are digging and coming in.

Animal patrol has done nothing to solve the problem either. Have you tried this route? It might work for you.

As Blondie has said, it is not the dog's fault. Some owners are not responsible enough to own dogs and sadly, the dog has to pay for their mistakes.
