This is very true - same thing happens with the tricky treat ball, which is on the market. I cut a second hole in the tricky treat ball so there was no vacuum. However, my dog managed to get part of her lower jaw stuck in the hole anyway and completely freaked out (she was ok though, just scared and pulled out of it).
So people probably shouldn't buy the tricky treat ball either. I have it in a cabinet because I need to saw through it before I throw it away, I don't want any little squirrels to get hurt if they find it in the dump somewhere.

I am the same, I always think of all ways any animal could get hurt by anything and fix it. I always cut through those plastic case water bottle holders, I heard cases that in the dumps animals have gotten their necks caught in them.
My dogs do not like these kind of toys but never thought of them getting tongue stuck in one.
