Remember: backyard breeders and puppymills also raise and sell AKC-registered dogs. And EVERY one of those dogs has an 'AKC champion line' because SOMEWHERE in the line of EVERY purebred dog is a champion, even if it's ten generations back!

Find a breeder who breeds to improve the breed. This is also someone who usually shows his/her dogs. You can find these people on the internet. You can DM me for specific kennels.

And DO consider rescue!
