I read an article about giving dogs fish oil pills for their hair, skin, and itching. Is it true? The pills are very big. What mg? How do you give it? Is it really safe to do?

Check into derm caps. They've made a HUGE difference in my rescue chihuahua's coat. They come in capsules, which you can easily hide in some cream cheese - the dogs snarf it right down.

An alternative is salmon oil, available online. I use the one from www.sitstay.com - one pump/day in dinner does it for my pug.

i would give some fish oil by the Company HALO Purity for Pets has a great oil blend for pets!

I would also switch to an All wet/canned food diet and feed once in morning and once in evening.

Don' have to get the pills but the bottle of oil.
