I guess many have never seen a dog eat their own feces (or other animals feces), lick their penises/vaginas/anuses or vomit and re eat their own vomit, eat raw/uncooked/spoiled meat, drink out the toilet (sometimes clean, sometimes not) and many other disgusting things, sorry the answer is no!

That is funny. My dog just asked where my mouth was last night.....
Dogs carry germs/bacteria just like humans, and every other living critter. A few are even the same type of bacteria, and carried by both species. However, the vast majority of the bacteria carried by dogs are specific to the species and will not survive on a human host. The same is also true for humans, the vast majority of the bacteria carried by humans are specific to only humans and will not survive on another host.
So the odds of catching an illness from your dog, or your dog catching an illness from you, is pretty remote. You are more likely to cause harm to your dog by feeding them something that is not appropriate for their species than any harm caused by the transfer of germs/bacteria.
My dogs can share my bed but not my utensils. On the rare occasions that they get a treat of people food it is in their dish.
Once you get to three or more dogs you realize that if you are going to hand each one of them a piece of your sandwich you don't have much left for yourself. So you either cut it out or make 2 sandwiches. I have 5 big dogs and 1 foster, guess which option I choose.
I'll admit I was guilty of doing this, but only after I'd finished eating! plus, I used to let my dog lick the plate clean. I probably wouldn't do it anymore if I ever got another dog, considering what a horrible beggar my dog was! (likely made the issues worse)
Guilty. Beau, the cat, will sit on the table and watch me eat a bowl of cereal, and he takes his paw and grabs my hand and pulls the spoon towards him. I have shared an ice cream cone with the dog.
The funniest thing in the world is to let your dog lick a spoon with a big blob of peanut butter. It sticks to the roof of their mouth, and they keep licking and licking, and they have the funniest expression on their face.
