Soo . . just gave Lucy her second dose of Sentinel; she had her first one in April and she did fine.

Tonight, she threw up ALL her dinner (pill was in her food) immediately after eating.

Anyone else experience this?

She had been on Interceptor all winter but we wanted to add flea protection for the summer.

I will have to call my Vet tomorrow and see if I need to re-dose.

Ringo takes Comfortis but my vet won't give it to Lucy as she is under 4 lbs.

I'm thinking maybe we should just go back to the Interceptor for her and figure out something else for the darn fleas . . .

Well my Charlie has colitis and his original vet, the vet my Dad had for him when he had a severe attack and ended up in the hospital and our current vet all suggested we keep him on Heartguard and Frontline. He tolerates the Heartguard but did not do well at all on the pills for flea protection. Our area has a lot of fleas and ticks and he has been fine on the Frontline.

Good luck with her!

I found a tick on her last night! And one on Ringo earlier this week. I can't imagine where they are getting these ticks. We've had Ringo for 4 years and I have NEVER seen a tick on him until this week.

Hmmm. Will be calling the Vet this morning. Someone told me that Sentinel does not do anything for ticks anyway.

Nausea is not fun for sure! Poor thing. I hope the vet can help with something else, maybe a smaller dose also. Good luck.
