How could anyone with any heart not love their dogs. They are the only thing that give unconditional love and they need us so much. Tonight we had another spring thunder storm, I felt so sorry for Mr Sumo, he just kept jumping into my lap and off. Then I had to put him out for his last tickly call of the night, thank goodness he did what he had to in about 10 seconds, cause he didn't understand what I was throwing him out for. I do wish they could talk.
This video is so beautiful, I feel the need to go down and just hug my dog. My dog is similar to the star of the video, Jerry, a GSD. I hope I can love her like Jerry's parents love him for a long, long time.
All great posts, fantastic video (I obviously started crying as dogs are my terribly soft spot in the heart) and PP mnita could not have said it any better. Once this lady told me "this does not make any sense, many good people don't like dogs at all!" Well, it makes total sense to me. All really great people I have met in my entire life loved dogs. I am sorry, that is just my opinion...being a dog lover gives a person an instantaneous good first impression with me And I am yet to meet a dog lover who is mean, usually they are great people! My humble opinion: you have a heart, you love dogs. (wait, you love any pets!)
Indeed! <sniffle> What a wonderful dog Jerry is. And the same can be said for the the nice couple he owns. It looks like this change of life has done all three of them all some good!
This really touched me. I love my dog so much, and she has certainly improved my quality of life tremendously. I'd do anything for her but I'd never prolong her suffering for my own selfishness.
Plus, my father chose the same course of action for his cancer, an often fatal form of melanoma that had spread to the lymph nodes: He opted for surgery but no drugs or chemo. The doctors said he was nuts, however: He is still alive and its been 29 years.
Thank you so much for that video it was amazing. Go Jerry!!
As to how much I love my dog, well it can't be measured. She's the center of my
universe, she knows it and I believe she loves me back for that.
Love our Pups more than ANYTHING in the world. They are my life.
Same here. They are my whole world and as they are getting up there in age and starting to get the big doggie ailments, I have to catch myself from thinking of the worst sometimes.
I love all of my dogs, and my cat, but one dog in particular has been my sidekick since day one. And he seems to feel what I do. If I get sick, he gets sick in the same manner, if I get upset, he mimics me. I don't know what I am going to do when he is gone. In fact I fear sometimes what I may do when he is gone. Just don't know how to live life without my monster. Hopefully this will be many many years from now.
