So the next link will allow filers to give them DD info? I filed, but didn't get a refund...they do have my brokerage account info..as stated above, I went to the link in the OP, and it said do not use it you already filed...which I did two weeks ago.
Having your 1099-B for your stock sales is not having your brokerage account info. They don't have your DD info at this point, even though you filed. If it were me, I'd be entering the DD info on the web site in order to expedite receiving the funds. Feel free to do as you please.
No that’s not it. Many of us out here don’t get refunds. Haven’t for years. We end up paying every year. Nothing to direct deposit when your mailing a check to the Fed year after year.
The link above is only valid for people with less than $12,200 gross income. The OP should change the title so it’s more clear. It’s all over the various news sites. The Fed is making a new link/web form for the rest of us and should be available around April 27th according to some news sites. We will see.
I am in a similar case, never get refunds. Married couple both working professional level jobs, and I work two jobs. I haven't gotten a refund since I was in college.
I do the direct payment withdrawal, I wonder if they are going to use that info.
That link is only valid for people with less than $12,200 gross income, though. Anyone who made more than that will have to wait for the other portal, which is tentatively scheduled to come online and immediately crash like the Hindenburg sometime this coming week.
Haha that was funny, probably true too.

I would think so. All I've read is that as long as the IRS has your bank info you'll get a direct deposit.
I think a lot of people will be screwed because of the pandemic. Many out of work still waiting for unemployment to kick in and states busy with very little workers showing up to deal with the high volume of unemployment filers more than the last 2 recessions. The $1200 check isn't going out for many people since a lot of people don't use efile and no direct deposit so the checks aren't supposed to go out until the middle of month and won't be received until next month due to the speed of printing checks and mailing them out.
Just think how long it takes to get your refund from the date of filing your taxes, that's how long to expect the check if you don't have direct deposit on record.
We used the link and never saw anything about incomes under a figure.
How could you miss it?
"Eligible U.S. citizens or permanent residents who:
Had gross income that did not exceed $12,200 ($24,400 for married couples) for 2019
Were not otherwise required to file a federal income tax return for 2019, and didn't plan to"
Let the fraud begin. The only difference this time is the strip clubs are closed.
